You're going to use AI anyway.
Put a human in the loop.

Most legal AI tools hand you an answer and wish you luck. We flag the risks in plain English, and when you want judgement, a qualified lawyer from Eta & Associates reads it with you. That's the entire idea.

Why we built this

The legal industry has two speeds.

On one side: expensive lawyers, slow but careful. The kind founders and freelancers can't afford until something has already gone wrong.

On the other: generic AI answers, fast but unaccountable. The kind that look fine until a counterparty's solicitor finds the gap you didn't know was there.

We built AIgent Legal for the space between. AI handles the speed, reading a 40-page MSA in seconds and flagging what deserves your attention, from your side of the deal. And when a flag needs a human's judgement, we put one in the loop: a qualified lawyer at Eta & Associates, on a flat-fee £100 consultation you request straight from the review. Your call, never a subscription.

“AI for the work that scales. Lawyers for the work that doesn't.”
The model · Step by step

Five steps from upload to decision.

Yellow markers are AI. Gold markers are human. The handoff between them is the whole product.

01
AI · Seconds

You upload.

Drop the contract you've been sent: an NDA, an MSA, a services or licensing agreement. PDF in, that's the whole job. One £15 credit covers the review, consumed only when it completes.

AI · Seconds

The platform works out whose side you're on.

The AI identifies the contracting parties and which one is you, from your profile and the document itself. If it can't tell confidently, it stops and asks you to pick a side rather than reviewing from the wrong one. Nothing is charged until the finished report comes back.

YOUR
SIDE
03
AI · Seconds

Red and yellow flags, in plain English.

A structured risk report, read from your side of the deal: red flags for high-risk legal or commercial issues, yellow flags worth clarifying, each one quoting the clause and explaining the concern without the legalese.

Human · On request

A lawyer, when you want one.

This is the bit that matters. Request a consultation straight from the review and a qualified lawyer at Eta & Associates emails you to arrange the call: the flags, what they mean for your deal, what to push back on. A flat £100, no hour bundles, and nothing is charged when you send the request.

HUMAN

You · In control

You decide with confidence.

Negotiate the clauses that matter, ask for the changes, or sign knowing exactly what you're agreeing to. Reviews stay in your dashboard for as long as you want them. Delete any time.

YOUR
DECISION
The division of labour

AI for the reading. A human for the judgement.

The review and the consultation do different jobs, and we're precise about which is which. Here's the rule for each.

01 · The AI review

Fast, thorough, and not advice.

You upload, we flag risk: every clause read from your side of the deal, £15 a review. You can read the report and act on it yourself; most legal service providers do exactly this. It tells you where to look. It doesn't tell you what to do.

Why the line?A review is a second pair of eyes, not a solicitor. We'd rather be honest about that than pretend otherwise.

02 · The consultation

A qualified lawyer, on request.

When a flag needs judgement, request a consultation from the review page. The team at Eta & Associates emails you to arrange the call. A flat £100, no hour bundles, no booking system. Sending the request costs nothing; payment is arranged when the consultation is.

Why request-based? Because a call you didn't ask for is an upsell. One you did ask for is advice.

The gap we sit in

Neither cheap-and-risky.
Nor slow-and-expensive.

Most legal AI tools optimise for one extreme. We optimise for the middle, and the middle is where most founders, freelancers and small in-house teams actually live.

→ AI-only tools

Fast, cheap, no accountability.

  • You're the last line of defence. Miss a clause, eat the consequence.
  • No qualified signatory, if it goes wrong, who do you call?
  • Templates trained on the open internet, not UK commercial standards.
  • Generic risk warnings with no idea what's market for your situation.
→ AIgent Legal

Fast, affordable, lawyer-backed.

  • A legal professional at Eta & Associates reviews before you sign.
  • Templates trained with lawyer input, designed for UK law specifically.
  • Red/yellow flags grounded in commercial market practice, not generic.
  • £15 a review, £100 a consultation. No subscription, no retainer, no hourly bills.
About Eta & Associates

The platform is owned and operated by a UK law practice.

Eta & Associates Limited is a private limited company incorporated under the laws of England and Wales (company number 10403170). They built AIgent Legal as a way to make their legal expertise scalable, without diluting the legal work itself.

Legal oversight

Eta lawyers provide ongoing input into AIgent Legal's review standards and risk-flag definitions. The platform's logic is reviewed against current UK law and commercial best practice as it evolves.

Collaboration, not representation

Using AIgent Legal only creates a solicitor-client relationship with Eta & Associates once you take a consultation with one of their lawyers. If you'd like bespoke legal advice for a matter outside the platform, you contact Eta directly.

Compliance & quality

Eta assists with UK GDPR compliance, contract-law standards, and other regulatory frameworks that touch the platform. We follow established AI ethics guidance for transparency and fairness.

The consultation promise

When you request a consultation, it's a qualified lawyer at Eta on the other end, not a support agent, not a chatbot. They read your review before they reply, and the £100 fee is flat, agreed up front.

Our commitments

Five lines we don't cross.

These aren't slogans. They're the operating rules behind every workflow on the platform.

01

Your data isn't training data.

Contract content you upload is never used to train or improve our models. Not by default, not by accident. Only if you explicitly opt in.

02

A flag is not advice.

The report tells you where to look, in plain English. When you need to know what to do, we put a qualified lawyer in front of you. We never dress the AI up as one.

03

UK-law first.

Reviews run against the laws of England & Wales. We don't pretend that fits every jurisdiction. We tell you where a contract needs local-law eyes.

04

Lawyer-backed, not lawyer-replaced.

The AI is a research assistant, not a solicitor. The human in the loop isn't a marketing feature. It's a real consultation with a real lawyer, whenever you ask for one.

05

Honest about limits.

We don't claim our templates fit every industry edge case. We flag where a specialist review is recommended, and we tell you who to call.

- END -

Built in London. Bound by English law. Backed by humans.

Democratising legal services, one reviewed contract at a time.

Try it on a contract you'd otherwise
have to send to a lawyer.

A free account, £15 a review, and a qualified lawyer one request away when the stakes deserve one.
